Apple Crumble
Homemade Apple Crumble uses freshly sliced apples baked in a flaky gluten-free pie crust and topped with a crunchy oat streusel. Apples are tossed in cinnamon and sugar creating the most incredible apple filling.

Makes 1 Apple Crumble

Ingredients:
1 single gluten-free pie crust, uncooked
​
​Filling:
7-8 Golden Delicious apples, peeled and sliced
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp brown sugar
2 tbsp white sugar
1/4 cup water

Crumble:
1 1/2 cup Old Fashion Gluten-Free Oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 cup cold dairy-free butter
​
​Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
​
Instructions
1) In a medium sized mixing bowl add sliced apples, cinnamon, brown sugar, white sugar and water. Stir until apples are coated. Put in pie crust.

2) To make the crumble, add gluten-free oats, sugar, cinnamon and dairy-free butter in medium sized mixing bowl. Once the mixture is crumbly sprinkle on top of apples.
​
Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes then reduce the heat to 350 degrees for another 40 minutes. Bake until apples are tender and crumble is golden.
